Principe The TG2-Covtest uses biotinylated T26 peptide (Biotin-pepT26) as the first substrate (amine-acceptor/acyl-donor) and an amine-donor/acyl-acceptor as a second substrate.
In the presence of Tgase-2 (suspected to be contained in the samples), the γ carboxamide of the glutaminyl residue of the biotin-pepT26 is incorporated into the amine substrate to form biotinylated isopetide bound. The quantity of biotin incorporated is related to the Tgase-2 activity and is revealed by a peroxidase colorimetric reaction.
